About EthosGate
EthosGate is an autonomous ethical reasoning and supervisory agent designed to place a machine conscience layer between intelligence and action. It evaluates truth integrity, human autonomy, and societal consequences before consequential AI behavior proceeds.
The architecture is based on the Conscience by Design Machine Conscience Corpus and the Rodić Principle by Aleksandar Rodić, founder of the Conscience by Design Initiative and author of Machine Conscience.
The objective is not task completion at any cost. It is to maximize useful intelligence subject to ethical invariants, while preserving human review, material uncertainty, source provenance, and a verifiable audit trail.
EthosGate is an independent hosted implementation. It cites relevant Conscience by Design materials through versioned internal provenance records; it does not claim ownership of the corpus, framework, or original code. The underlying documentation and framework material remain attributed to Aleksandar Rodić under CC BY 4.0; incorporated reference-code concepts retain their MIT notices and are provided without warranty.

The complete Conscience by Design corpus includes the Declaration of Creation, Conscience by Design Framework, Conscience Layer Prototype, Moral Revolution Framework, Explanation of the Conscience Layer, The Rodić Principle, Mathematical Supplement, Architectural Framework, Synthesis, and reference prototype source. EthosGate preserves the applicable document identity, version, hash, author attribution, and license class internally for each cited evaluation.
